Beverly Gail Wahpepah-Shankle passed away on June 28, 2022.
Beverly was born on November 8, 1945 to Cecilia Jennings-Makaseah and Fred Sr. Wahpepah. She graduated from high school in Bell Gardens, California. She is survived by daughters: Crystal Wahpepah and Cecilia Wahpepah; grandchildren: Robert Osife, Rosario Hopper, Serena Osife, Tara Wallace, Rikki Hopper, Ryan Wallace, Kala Hopper, Christian Mora, Kylee Mora and Starlotte Mora and 2 greatgrandchildren. Beverly has one surviving sister, Carleta Billy. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Shankle, daughter Mercedes and siblings: Fred Jr. Wahpepah, Myrna Wright, Teresa Bellanger, Bill Wahpepah.
A memorial ceremony was held on July 2nd, 2022. Beverly was laid to rest at Wakolee Cemetery.
