Beverly Sue (Disel) Cox died Feb. 12, 2022.
Beverly was born to Dorothy Ramona (Landers) Disel and Vernon Everett Disel on Nov. 5, 1939, in Seminole County, OK. She was a gifted and loyal employee of Girls Town, later named COJAC.
Beverly married Clarence Cox, Jr. on Oct. 4, 1957, in Wewoka, OK.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Cox, Jr.; her parents Dorothy, and Vernon Disel from Stillwater OK; her mother-in-law Gladys Cox and father-in-law Clarence Cox of Tecumseh.
She is survived by her daughter Kari Yates of Eufaula, OK; her oldest son C. Keith Cox of Tecumseh. Kurt Cox and Jodi Cox, daughter in law, of Shawnee. Grandchildren C. Kye and Ashley Cox, Macomb, OK, Jason Yates, Maud, OK, Kindel and wife Wenayv, Shawnee, OK. Her beloved and pride and joys were her Great Grandchildren Kulson Yates, Tecumseh, OK, Dakota Yates, Maud, OK, Delaney Mae and Presley Jo Cox, Macomb, OK and Kyleigh Fixico, Shawnee, OK. As well as many other friends and family.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022 and continue until time of service. Service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clint Dawkins, Sharon Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
