Bobbye Jo (Thornton) Mason passed away July 11, 2022. Bobbye was born May 20, 1949 in Okemah, OK to Robert F. and Virginia Mae Thornton. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1967 and Okmulgee State Tech in 1970.
Bobbye worked for 20 years at Tecumseh Schools as a cook.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Virginia Thornton, and her son Charles Boston III.
She is survived by her husband Glen Mason; sons James Mason, and John Mason; sister Sue; grandchildren Thomas Mason, Emma Mason and Noah Mason; nephew Bobby James; nieces Rebecca and Virginia; and several great nieces and nephews.
Services were held on July 18 at Open Door Church of God.
