Shawnee resident Carl Corrick, 74, died Oct. 15, 2021, after a brief illness.
Carl was born May 15, 1947, in Shawnee to David and Ruby Corrick.
His kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of millions as a DJ with KOMA, KEBC, KGFF, and WKY.
Carl was also a proud member of the Masonic Lodge.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Legacy of Prosperity Foundation (where Carl was the proud President, donations facilitator, and inspiration for projects and fundraising).
