Carol “Sue” Race passed away October 7, 2022.
Sue was born in Stilwell, Oklahoma on September 5, 1939 to Delmer and Zelma Foster. She and her beloved husband, Dick, provided their three daughters with a lifelong example of commitment to marriage and family.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Race, her parents and siblings. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in- law, Debbie and Bill McConnell, Lynne and Mark Mc-Guire, Leslie and Tyler LaReau, all of Norman; granddaughter and husband, Lindsay and Jon Hawkins, grandson and wife, Clay and Chandra McConnell, granddaughters Morgan Bynum, Meredith Brown and her husband Hunter, Emma LaReau, Maggie McGuire, and Claire LaReau and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday October 14, 10:00 a.m. at the Tecumseh Cemetery under the care of Walker Funeral Home of Shawnee with Rev. Rockford Johnson officiating.
