Christopher “Clayton” Ray passed away Sept. 23, 2025. Clayton was born Jan. 21, 1998, in Shawnee, OK, to Chris Ray and Kimberly Lehenbauer. He began his career working alongside his father-in-law, James, dedicating many years to leading crews in underground utility work.
He is survived by his loving wife, Holly Ray of McLoud, OK; father-in-law, James McCampbell and wife Kelly of McLoud, OK; sister-in-law, Hailey McCampbell; father, Chris Ray and wife Rhea of Pink, OK; mother, Kimberly Young and husband Patrick of Tecumseh, OK. He is also survived by his siblings: Baile Ray and fiancée Iesha Coley of Ada, OK; Makayla, Blake, and Clay Ray, all of Pink, OK; and Dalton and Maci Young of Tecumseh, OK.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 10:30 am, Oct. 2, 2025, at Asa Smith Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in McLoud Cemetery.
