Clarice “Louise” Phillips passed away Aug. 29, 2025. Louise was born in Wellington, TX, Jan. 10, 1951, to Durwood and Juanita Royal.

She was a graduate of Vega High School. Louise married Douglas, Sept. 3, 2005, in Elk City, OK. She made a career serving others in the restaurant industry. She managed Sambo’s in Pampa TX until it closed in 1980. She worked at several restaurants until she retired from the Country Dove in Elk City in 2016.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sharon Easley; brother, Jackie Ledbetter.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Douglas Phillips, Macomb, OK; daughter, Danita and Todd James, Macomb, OK, Brandi and David Owens, Chandler, OK; grandchildren, Randall and Bailey James, Daniel James, Macomb, OK. Kelsie Siqueiros and Manuel Siqueiros, Macomb, OK, Jake and Jamey Schultz, Ormond Beach, FL; sisters, Carol and Ronnie Cross, Mannford, OK, Darla Smith, Amarillo, TX, Lana Graham, Amarillo, TX and brother, David Stump, Amarillo, TX; 13, great grandchildren; other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 3 -7 pm Sept. 4, 2025 continuing thru service time. Services will be held at 1 pm. Sept. 5, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel in Tecumseh OK with Alfonso Almanza officiating. Burial will follow at Tribbey Cemetery, Tribbey OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
