Cullen Scott Walker, 30, passed away in Tempe, AZ, on June 16, 2025. Cullen was born on Sept. 8, 1994 to Mark and Lisa Walker. He attended South Rock Creek Elementary School where he played football, baseball, basketball, ran track, and was captain of the academic team. He graduated from Shawnee High School, where he played varsity football, ran track, was the senior class president, and graduated at the top of his class. One of his favorite high school memories was making the state playoffs in football. Cullen was a proud alumni of Oklahoma University, where he studied MIS, was a member of SAE where he made lifelong friends, and loved cheering on Sooner football. Cullen took a job in Phoenix, AZ, as an intern for Oracle Software and also worked in risk management at Amazon. He moved to Tempe to work at Carvana’s headquarters and, most recently, was a data analyst for JP Morgan/ Chase in their Tempe office. He also helped care for his beloved Nonno, who lived in Scottsdale.
Cullen is survived by his parents; his sister, Mellyn Walker; grandmother, Diana Haven; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
A celebration of Cullen’s life will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church, Shawnee, Oklahoma, on June 28, 2025 at 11 am. In honor of Cullen’s giving nature, the family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Angel Tree at Salvation Army.
