Cynthia Ann (East) Monday passed away Aug. 8, 2025. Cindy was born on April 22, 1965, in Van Nuys, California, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She began working at Richard’s Drug at just 16 years old and remained there faithfully until early 2021, becoming a trusted and familiar face in the community. Cindy married Kevin Monday in Nov. 2002. Together they adopted three children — Aaron, Olivia, and Carter — and built a home filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Cindy loved her family above all else, including her beloved dogs, who were always by her side.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her children, Olivia, Aaron, and Carter; along with extended family and countless friends whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Edward East; and brother, Michael East .
Services were held on Aug. 12, 2025, at Calvary Cemetery in Shawnee, OK.
