Danny Wade Boyett, 53, of Jennings, OK, passed away Wednesday, Apr. 13, 2022, in Tulsa.
He was born June 7, 1968, to Danny and Ruth (Fowler) Boyett in OK City, OK.
Danny was raised in the Choctaw area and attended Choctaw Public Schools. He graduated with the class of 1985 from Choctaw High School.
He married Jessica Sliger.
Danny worked in law enforcement most of his life as a police officer serving in Lincoln, Pottawatomie, and Payne Counties, City of Perkins, and as Police Chief in Tryon, OK, and Carney, OK. He also was a truck driver and mechanic.
He loved tinkering, mechanics and was an artist and enjoyed doing tattoos.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Jack Sliger.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jessica Boyett of the home; two daughters, Megan Boyett and Fiancé Colton Deathrage of Maud, OK and Faith Sliger of Knox City, TX; three sons, Danny Wade Boyett and fiancé Breanna Bender, Matthew Knowles of Stamford, TX and Anthony Knowles of Stamford, TX; mother-in-law, Nancy Sliger of Tecumseh, OK; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Tisha and Greg Kimball of Mannford, OK and Tracy and Billy Chase of Jones, OK; one brother, Jimmy Boyett of Bristow; Sherry and Steven Ellis, TX; and other extended family and friends. Services were held
Tuesday, Apr. 19, 2022, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel, with John Fowler officiating. Burial followed at Sliger Family Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
