David Wayne Dobyns passed away Nov. 9, 2022.
He was born Nov. 4, 1944, to Clester and Fern (Brown) Dobyns in Oklahoma City, OK.
He married Nola Hazen on May 21, 1999.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clester and Fern Dobyns; 7 siblings; and daughter-in-law, Ratana Dobyns.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nola Dobyns of the home; two daughters, Tanna Bean and Nichelle Tieman; three sons, Michael Dobyns, Allan Dobyns and Craig Dobyns; two step-daughters, Helen Lee and Sondra Tonubbee; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Services were held Nov. 14, 2022, at Liberty Baptist Church in Shawnee with Reverend Phil Thompson and Reverend David Tieman officiating. Burial followed at Little Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
