Debrah Kay Mathis passed away May 24, 2026, in Shawnee, OK. Debrah was born to Bobby Gene and Margaret Sue (Lowry) Mathis in Ada, OK. She graduated from Bethel with the class of 1971 and made a home in the Shawnee area. Debrah spent all of her adult life working in the medical field retiring from Unity Health Center in 2011.
Debrah is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Shelli and Adam Richards of Shawnee; two grandchildren: Destini and Drake Richards; brother, Mike Akins of Georgia; two sisters: Sue Akins and Sissie Akins, both of Norman, OK; and half sister, Nancy Misic of NM.
Debrah is preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Walter Akins, Jr.
A private burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, Shawnee, OK. at a later date.
