Dorceal Montgomery passed away September 16, 2022.
Cleda Dorceal Montgomery was born March 29, 1930 in Cedar Glades, AR to James R. Hamilton and Mary Elizabeth ( Herron) Hamilton. She married Warren Mize August 21, 1948. She later married Roy Montgomery in 1993. Dorceal worked much of her life as a homemaker but later started an in home day care.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, 2 sisters: Alva Dean Hamilton Bullock-Harrell and Carol Sue Gentry, a brother: Winfred Leo Hamilton and an infant brother.
Survivors include her daughter: LaDawn Hollis and husband Charles of Shawnee, 3 grandchildren: Courtney Lowry and husband Rev. Matthew Lowry, Crystal Hollis Ritter, and Callie Hollis Sherrill and husband Zack, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers: Olin Hamilton, Delmer Hamilton, and many nieces, nephew, other family and friends.
Services were held September 20, 2022 at Johnson Church of God. Burial followed at Johnson Cemetery.
