Edmond Gene Colston passed away Nov. 10, 2022.
He was born on July 22, 1935, in Corinth, KY to Arva John and Edith (Fields) Colston. Edmond joined the Air Force when he was 19 years old and is a Korean War veteran. He completed his service while at Tinker Air Force Base and then worked civil service until he retired in 1988. Edmond married Wanda June Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arva John and Edith Colston, and brothers Junior Colston, Charles Colston, and Donald Colston.
He leaves behind his wife, Wanda; daughter, Jeanette Bennett and husband Joel; son, Marc Colston and wife Gina; son, Todd Colston and Denise Walton-Colston; daughter, Krista Basinger and husband Toby; and son, John Scott Colston and wife Pati; grandchildren, Zac Colston, Bridgette Hartwick, Lauren Griffin, Juli Long, Eric Colston, Michael Howe, Jonathon Colston, Kyler Colston, and Brooke Richardson, and greatgrandchildren, Paige, Payton, Wyatt, Ryde, Track, Olivia, Emry, Leighton, June, and Joy.
Services were held Nov. 15, 2022. Edmond was laid to rest at Dale Cemetery with military honors.
