Elaine Kieffer, 80, passed away on June 12, 2026. She was born on Jan. 6, 1946, in Holdenville, OK to R.D. and Alma Watson. Elaine graduated from Shawnee High School in 1964. She married Joe Kieffer on Dec. 29,1964.
Elaine worked at Sylvania for a short time until she decided to be a stay-at-home mom to raise her boys.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Haley; and her son, David Kieffer.
Those left to cherish her memories include her beloved husband, Joe Kieffer of the home; son and daughter in law, Daniel and Tesia Kieffer of Granbury, TX; sister, and brother in law, Olivia and Glen Neal of Cushing, OK; three grandchildren, Nikolaus and Vita Kieffer, Isabella Kieffer, and Aleksandar Kieffer; two great-grandchildren, Ophelia and Finley, and many extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services were held June 17, 2026, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerome Manous of Lifespring Hospice officiating. Burial followed at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
