The founder of Tecumseh Ok High School Friends page on Facebook, Ginger Rogers West, passed away Aug. 1. She was 79. She was a member of the Tecumseh High School Class of 1964. She loved her hometown and her school, and they loved her back.
She was active for many years in the THS Alumni Association and continued to serve as historian even while battling serious health issues. She founded the Facebook group on April 10, 2016, with the hopes of giving everyone who loves Tecumseh schools a place to connect and share information and memories.
We will miss her spirit and her wealth of knowledge.
Ginger’s service will be Aug. 8, at Corbett Funeral Home, 807 W. Wilshire Blvd., Oklahoma City. Visitation will begin at 1 pm., and the funeral will be at 2 pm. Parking is available in front, behind, and along 79th Street.
