Hubert was a hardworking man who put his family and friends first. He retired from Hasbell’s Tree Service, but was always available and willing to share his knowledge of the trade. After he retired, he made a hobby out of raising cattle and bailing hay. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and watching Western movies, and was also known for his luck at the casino from time to time.
Hubert was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hasbell; daughter, Pennie Hasbell; son, Rick Hasbell and his parents David & Helen Hasbell.
He is survived by son, Stacy Hasbell (Tammy) of Bethel Acres; daughter, Kristal Conley (James III) of Meeker; daughter, Debbie Boxley and family of Oklahoma City, daughter, Sheila Wren and family of Shawnee; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ken Hasbell, Janice Linville and Leon Hasbell.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Walker Funeral Service on Thursday, May 5th with family present for a time of visitation Thursday evening from 5-7 pm.
Services will be held at the Walker Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 10 am. Following the ceremony, he will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery. The family will host a celebration of life gathering at a later date.
