Jeff was born in Oklahoma City on Dec. 19, 1973, to Billy King and Janet Moore. He graduated from Western Heights High School and spent his career working for Tinker Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic. Jeff married Melissa King on Feb. 14, 2021, in Shawnee, OK, and together they built a life filled with love, family, and their six dogs. He enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing, traveling, and being the grill master of the family.

He is survived by his wife; daughter Cynthia and her husband, Michael, of San Tan Valley; granddaughter Zoey Grace; mother Janet Shores and her husband, Carl Shores, of Prague; his three brothers: Chance King of Granbury, TX; Michael Armontrout of Granbury, TX; and Brian Armontrout and his wife, Jaclyn Armontrout, of Watauga, TX; his sister, Stephanie Armontrout, and her boyfriend, Kevin, of TX; father figure Jimmy Forrester of Arcadia; and stepchildren: Austin Link of Norman; Carson McKay and his wife, Allyson McKay, of Oklahoma City; an Bryson McKay of Shawnee.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Billy King; his father- and mother-in-law, Antony Link and Carolyn Link; his grandparents, Frank Wash, Lavada Wash, Richard Keough, and Helen Keough; and his aunt, Kimberly Parham.

Services were held Aug. 13, 2025, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh, OK.
