Jesse Lee Johnson passed away on June 19, 2026. He was born on July 22, 1986, in Shawnee, OK, to Pamela Gaye Johnson (Masquas) and James Russell Johnson.
Jesse proudly served his country in the United States Army from 2008 to 2012. He attained the rank of Specialist (SPC), E-4 and served as a 12N Horizontal Construction Engineer. During his military career, he completed deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a Horizontal Construction Engineer, Jesse operated heavy equipment and helped build and maintain roads and infrastructure supporting military operations overseas.
For his faithful and dedicated service, Jesse received numerous awards and decorations including the Army Achievement Medal, Valorous Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with three campaign stars, Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon. He completed his full term of service and was honorably discharged from the United States Army.
Jesse is survived by his mother, Pamela Gaye Johnson of the home; his daughters, Raquel Johnson of El Reno, OK, Justine Johnson of El Reno, OK, Samantha Johnson of El Reno, OK, Anjeliah Johnson of Eau Claire, WI, and Alice Faye Johnson of Eau Claire, WI; his brother, James Johnson of Earlsboro, OK; his sister, Candace Elizondo of Eagle Pass, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Russell Johnson; his sister, Abigail Jones; and his nephew, Osceola Jones.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am, June 26, 2026 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel.
