Judy Ann Parsons, 81, passed away on Jan. 22, 2025. Judy was born on July 3, 1944 in Shawnee, OK. She graduated from Tecumseh High School and attended college at St. Gregory’s. She married Carroll Eugene “Gene” Parsons on July 17, 1965. Judy loved to cook and bake. She made excellent cakes for birthdays and weddings. She also loved to sew and was very crafty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R. T. Franklin Burton and Geneva Mary Burton.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gene Parsons; sons, Shawn Keith Parsons and wife Brandi and Brian Scott Parsons and wife Amber; grandchildren: Michael Scott Parsons, Caden Oliver Parsons, Brooke Stout, and Brittni Whittington; great-grandchildren: Luna Richardson and Warren Stout; half-brother, Raymond Gene Burton, and numerous cousins and extended family.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026 from 8 am to 7 pm with family present to greet friends from 5-7 pm. A funeral ceremony for Judy will be held on Jan. 30, 2026 at 2 pm at the Walker Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery.
