Katherine Taron

Katherine Marjorie Taron passed away Aug. 22, 2025. Katherine was born on Oct. 17, 1943, to Pierre and Lelia Taron.

She left a legacy of faith and generosity to her daughter, Demita Winegardner; grandchildren, Sean Winegardner, Brooke Winegardner, and Jillian Floyd; and great grandson, Wayne Winegardner.

Wake services will be held Friday evening, Sept. 12, 2025, time TBD at Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Sept. 13, 2025, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Shawnee, OK. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery Tecumseh, OK.
