Leslie “Les” Godwin passed away Aug. 8, 2025. Les was born in McLoud, OK, to Albert and Nellie Godwin. He graduated from McLoud High School married Sandy. Together they shared decades of laughter, challenges, and triumphs, raising two children they adored. His greatest pride was his family, especially his grandchildren — Nicole Palmer, Brandon Sellars, Avery Sellars, Liam Godwin, and Lane Godwin — and his great-grandchildren — Kevin Tyner, Kenan Tyner, Amiyah Briones, and Imani Harrison — who each held a special place in his heart.
Les was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sandy, granddaughter Ella Godwin, his parents, and all of his siblings.
A funeral ceremony for Les will be held at 10 am on August 14, 2025 at the Walker Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mark Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
