Linda Charlene Hoisington, 69, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was born on September 1, 1952, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to the late Charles Floyd Campbell and Lillie Evelyn Batt Campbell. Linda grew up in Bethel Acres, Oklahoma where she graduated from Bethel high school, she later attended the Oklahoma City Community College and worked in the banking industry until her retirement. She married John Hoisington on May 23, 1980, in Shawnee. Linda’s passion was her family and loved ones, she helped run the wrecker service with her husband and son, and she enjoyed being with her best buddy J. T. She also enjoyed going to Branson and watching musicals, watching comedy shows and movies. Her greatest love was taking care of her home and family. She was a loving wife, mother, granny, nanna, and sister.
She is survived by husband John Hoisington, Madill, Oklahoma; children: John Hoisington, Madill, Oklahoma and Courtney Gillespie, Calera, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother J. R. Campbell and wife Donna, Bethel Acres, Oklahoma; sister Kay Campbell and Donna Stevens, Bethel Acres, Oklahoma and Sylvia Wiens, Edmond, Oklahoma; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father in-law; Fred and Frankie Jean Hoisington, brother; Danny Lee Campbell.
