Mary Lou Fisher passed away April 24, 2026, at the age of 95.
Mary Lou was born in Tecumseh, OK, on Mar. 3, 1931, to Mary and Loniel Rader. She proudly graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1949. For many years, she dedicated her career to serving as a civilian employee at Tinker Air Force Base.
Mary Lou is survived by her nieces and nephews, Cherie Jolly, John Land, Ashely Land, Rickey Smith (spouse Debi), and Jay Smith (spouse Tosha).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Melford Fisher; her sisters, Nancy Land, Linda Smith, and Joveta Beal; her parents, Mary and Loniel Rader; and her grandparents, John and Jennie Rader.
Visitation will be held from 9 am to 1 pm, May 4, 2026, at Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh, OK. Graveside services held at 2 pm at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee, with Reverend Phil Thompson, Liberty Baptist Church, Shawnee OK, officiating, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA.
