Mary Perry, 59, of Shawnee, OK, died Dec. 13, 2021, at her home.
She was born July 2, 1962, to Omer and Hazel (Fulks) Yandell in Healdsburg, CA.
Mary lived in California until the third grade when the family moved to Summerfield, OK. She was raised in Summerfield and graduated high school with the class of 1980 in Le Flore, OK. She lived in Duncan, OK, until moving to the Bethel Acres area where she has lived the last 10 years.
Mary married Willy Perry Dec. 6, 2015, in Joplin, MO.
Mary enjoyed hosting large holiday meals, collecting recipes, visiting family and taking care of her cat. She enjoyed searching travel on Pinterest and always had a way of remembering everyone’s birthday.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Billy Lee Yandell; and sister, Billie Ann Yandell Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Willy Perry; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ellen and David Adams of Duncan, OK, Merdith and Marty Harp of Jacksboro, TX, and Vicky Yandell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lonnie and Judy Yandell of Wister, OK, Donald Yandell of Heavener, OK, and George Yandell of Spiro, OK; and other extended family and fri ends.
Services were held Dec. 17, 2021, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Larry Townsend, Bethel Acres Assembly officiating. Burial followed at Brown Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
