Mary Anne (Smith) Rizkharati passed away on Dec. 16, 2025. Mary was born on Feb. 24, 1954, in Shawnee, OK, to Floyd Charles Smith and Mary Isabel (Swink) Smith. On Jan. 12, 1973 she married Yousef Rizkharati. Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing and devoted 20 years of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; son Michael Rizkharati; sister Judy Smith; niece, Shelly Ramirez; brother, Junior Smith; great-grandson, Kyler Rizkharati.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Yousef Rizkharati; daughter and son-in-law Diana and Chris Low, Shawnee, OK; grandchildren: Cassie low, Brandon Buckley, Maisie and Kaitlyn Rodriguez- Rizkharati, Jared and Aubrey Rizkharati, Angela Buckley, Darrius Low, Josef Buckley, Jacob Rizkharati, Robert Baysinger, Kenzie Baysinger, Lyriq Low, Jayce Rizkharati and Addison Buckley; great grandchildren: Ezra Ratigan, Lexa Ratigan and Millie Rizkharati; sister, Shirley Rodriquez, Shawnee, OK; brother, Robert Smith, Shawnee, OK; many extended family, friends and loved ones.
Services were held Dec. 19, 2025, at Calvary Cemetery in Shawnee, OK with Very Rev. Christopher Brashears, St. Benedict Catholic Church, Shawnee, OK officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
