Melissa Roxanne Wiens passed away on Sept. 5, 2025. She was born on Feb. 28, 1984, in Oklahoma City, OK, to John William Adams, Sr. and Cynthia Driggers.
Although Melissa was raised in Hugo, OK, she made her home in the Tecumseh area for the last 10 years. She married Justin Wiens on June 1, 2019, in Hugo.
Melissa loved the water—going to the lake and fishing. She loved playing video games with the kids or taking them to the amusement park and riding the rides; but most of all, she just enjoyed spending time with her children.
Melissa was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia Driggers.
Melissa is survived by her husband, Justin Wiens of the home; son, Landon Jenkins; daughter, Kyri Jenkins; and son, Benjamin Wiens, all of the home; father, John Adams of TX; sister, Michelle Dudley of Martinsville, VA; brother, John Adams Jr. of IN; brother, Billy Adams of Hugo; many extended family members; and a host of friends.
Services were held Sept. 12, 2025 at AE Funeral Services Chapel, Shawnee, OK.
