Michael “Mike” James LaPach, 38, of Earlsboro, OK, passed away peacefully on Wed., July 29, 2026. Mike was born on Dec. 12, 1987, in Shawnee, OK, to Cindy (Drummond) LaPach. Mike married Katherine Love on Aug. 14, 2015, in Davis, OK.
During high school, Mike worked for David and Terry Williams at New Ideas Printing in Tecumseh. Throughout his career, he held a variety of technical positions, including working in information technology for casinos and servicing cell phone towers, which allowed him to travel throughout many states. Mike found employment in solar panel installation with Eight Twenty Solar. During that time, he earned his electrical license. In early 2026, Mike also worked parttime for SolSource until his health no longer allowed him to continue.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.D. and Carol Drummond, and his aunt, Pam Fultz.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; his mother; his brother, Stephen LaPach; aunts and uncles, Liz and Ray Cochran, Paula Baker, and David Fultz; cousins, Kim and Anthony Arrington, Lori and Jason Crow, Amanda Fultz, David Ross Fultz, Shelby Fultz, Zach and Kylee Miller, Destiny Wilson, Riley and Chandler Baker, and Kassidy Baker; along with numerous extended family members and dear friends.
A memorial service celebrating Mike’s life will be held at 10 am on Aug. 6, 2026, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel, Tecumseh, OK, officiated by Rev. David Long of Seminole First Assembly in Seminole, OK.
