Micheal Anthony Ruiz passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 14, 2025. Mike was born on July 31, 1989, in Smithfield, NC, to Everardo and Millie Ruiz. On March 27, 2017, Micheal and Katie Lynn were married. In 2015, Mike obtained his CDL licensure. From there, he worked hard to obtain a career and finally landed his dream job in 2019 with Dolese Bros. Co.
Micheal is survived by his wife, Katie and son, Bentley; his father, Everardo and his mother, Millie; his brother, Jason and wife, Lisa and their children, Anthony and Kyle; his sister, Alisa and husband, Lazaro “Zorro”, and son Jayden; inlaws: Felipe and Maelynn; sisters, Felicia (Evan) and Sarah; brothers, Chris, Jacob, and Zach; nieces: Melayna, Lily, Lola, Lucy, and Evelyn; nephews: Jessie, Ryan, Aiden, Malakai, Grayson, and Riot; and his fur babies: Toasty, Arlo, and Lenny.
Micheal is preceded in death by his four unborn babies; cousin, Noe; Sergio “Uncle”, and grandma, Laverna.
Services were held Sept. 18, 2025 at AE Funeral Services Chapel.
