Nina Willadean Austin, 91, passed away on Sept. 24, 2026. Willadean was born on Dec. 6, 1934 in Roff, OK to Eli and Iva Pearl Summers. At Kendrick High School she played basketball and softball. She married Doyle D. Austin on Dec. 6, 1957 in Shawnee, OK. He passed away just shy of their 60th wedding anniversary. Willadean and Doyle rode motorcycles and were part of The Old Santa Fe Riders motorcycle club. They enjoyed traveling and worked for many years at their business, Doyle Austin and Sons Construction Co.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doyle Austin; son, Michael Austin; great-grandson, Michael Roy Austin; and 14 siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Randy Austin and wife Anita and Russell Austin and wife Pamela; daughter, Delta Foor; daughter- in-law, Debra Austin; nine grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Delmer Summers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral ceremony for Willadean will be held at the Riley-Walker Funeral home chapel on Oct. 1, 2026 at 2 pm. Following the ceremony, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Fairview Cemetery.
