Patricia Ann (Lamb) Givens passed away October 9, 2022.
She was born October 3, 1931, in Anadarko, OK to Chester Francis Lamb and Mina Jane Smith Lamb.
She graduated from Hamilton High School in Culver City, CA. She married William Collins in 1950. After her divorce, she moved back to Anadarko where she was CEO of the Chamber of Commerce. At her 30th high school reunion, Pat reunited with (and later married) her life-long friend, Jim Givens and they moved to Germany for his work. Pat was asked by “Republicans Abroad” to organize and chair a chapter in northern Germany. She traveled much in her capacity and worked with U.S. consulates across Europe. Pat was also president of the American Women’s Club in Hamburg.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jim.
She is survived by her sister, Gayla Norgaard and husband Ron; three sons, Dennis Patrick Collins and wife Linda, Scott William Collins, and Timothy Michael Collins and wife Katherine; five grandchildren, Brad Collins and wife Christina, Emily Kell and husband Jay, Will Collins and wife Jeannette, Tanner Collins, and Kate Collins; and six great grandchildren, Emma, Andrew, Leo, Cashel, Eleanor and Josephine.
Funeral service will be Saturday, October 15, at 11 a.m. at Walker Funeral Service in Shawnee, Okla., with family visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the same day. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, Okla.
