Patrick Robert Johnson passed away Feb. 8, 2026. He was born on Dec. 2, 1948, in Shawnee, OK, to John Edward Johnson and Anna Lee (Taron) Johnson. Pat was a 1967 graduate of Worthington High School. Following graduation, he returned to Shawnee where he worked on the family farm. During that time, he earned an Associate Degree in Ranch Management from Eastern Oklahoma State University. In 1971, the Johnson family relocated their farming operation to Lore City, OH. Pat farmed 756 acres there for more than four decades, continuing until he suffered a stroke in August of 2012. Pat proudly served his country in the Army National Guard and was a faithful member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Misty (Adam) Lawrence; his son, Dusty (Alicia) Johnson; his sister, Diane (John) Boyhan of Venice, FL; two brothers, Charles A. (Barb) Johnson of Blaine, WA, and Lawrence J. (Jill) Johnson, Ph.D., of Sylvania, OH; his grandchildren, Haley Johnson, Scarlett Johnson, and Tristan Johnson; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Pat’s request, formal services and final resting place will take place in Shawnee, OK on Feb. 20, 2026, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Mass will begin at 9:30 am. Military Honors will be conducted at Calvary Cemetery. A Rosary Prayer Service will take place at 7 pm the evening before the Mass also at St. Benedict in Shawnee, OK. Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral & Cremation Service.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church (Christ Our Light Parish) in Cambridge, Ohio on Feb. 28, 2026, at 11 am.
