Priscilla “Prissy” Jennings, 80, of Shawnee, OK, died March 6, 2022.
She was born April 11, 1941, to Bud and Ozell (Linn) Clark in Byars, OK.
Prissy was raised in Byars and east of Noble. She graduated from Noble High School.
After high school, she joined the U.S. Navy.
Upon returning from the Navy, she moved to Oklahoma City, where she met her husband, Bob Darby. They married and moved to the farm in Pink where they lived for many years. Prissy started driving school buses at that time.
Bob preceded Prissy in death and she then met and married Don Jennings. After Don’s death a few years later she moved to Tecumseh and in 2017 moved to Shawnee.
Prissy drove the school bus for 18 years for the Tecumseh School System.
She enjoyed hunting and fishing and liked to sew and make quilts.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bob Darby and Don Jennings; her parents; four brothers, Charles, S.L., Eugene and Larry Clark; and two sisters, Lagretta Maxwell and Judy Fox.
Survivors include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Virgil and Betty Clark of Houston, TX, Carl and Mary Clark of Shawnee, OK, and Billy Ray Clark of Shawnee, OK; one sister, Anita Tucker of McLoud, OK; and many friends and extended family.
Visitation will be 9 am, March 24 until service time at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 2 pm March 24, 2022, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at McGuire Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. The celebration of Prissy’s life will be live-streamed through Cooper Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
