Roger Lee Harris passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 6, 2026. Roger was born on Aug. 15, 1990, in Fort Stewart, GA to Mary and Carl Harris. Known for his love of working on cars, Roger had a passion for all things mechanical, a testament to his skill and dedication.
Roger is preceded in death by his grandpa, Tony W. Ponkilla II; grandpa, Charles Harris; grandma, Susana B. Harris; father, Carl W. Harris; and uncles, Daniel Ray Ponkilla and Roger Harris.
Roger is survived by his mother, Mary L. Harris; step-father, Francis L. Wilson; brother, Matthew W. Harris; aunts and uncles: Boyd D. Ponkilla, Toni Wahpekeche, Terry D. Ponkilla and wife Debra, Annette Wilson and husband Calvin, Yvonne D. Ponkilla, Tony W. Ponkilla III, Gary L. Ponkilla and Larry W. Ponkilla; along with numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins and a host a friends.
Services were held Aug. 10, 2026 at Kickapoo Friends Center, McLoud, OK. A burial ceremony followed at Johnson Cemetery.
