Ronald William Vorholt, 84, of Paden, OK passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, in Tulsa, OK.
He was born October 17, 1937, to John Henry and Ruby I. (Miller) Vorholt in St. Louis, Missouri.
Ronald was raised in St. Louis. After high school, he attended college for three years.
He lived in Kalamazoo, MI, working for General Motors for many years. He moved to OK where he lived for the last 46 years and worked for General Motors until his retirement.
Ronald married Betty Collins on April 23, 2012, in Miami, OK.
He loved woodworking, carpentering, working on cars, and working at his church.
He was preceded in death by his son Richard Baughman; his parents; and twin brother, Donald Vorholt.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Collins, of the home; son, Bill and Diana Vorholt of Richland, MI; daughters, Debbie Chadziutko of St. Petersburg, FL, Donna Echols of Las Vegas, NV, Kathy Barnes of TN, and Debbie Frair of Wewoka, OK; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Greg Vorholt of North Carolina; and other extended family and friends.
Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Terry Pittman, First Baptist Church, Paden, OK, officiating. Burial followed at Madden Family Cemetery in Crocker, MO, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
