Sherry Lee Wright passed away on July 4, 2022.
Sherry was born in Moore, OK to her parents, Ludie Smith and Margaret Foster. Sherry worked at Western Electric in Oklahoma City. It was there that she met a farm boy named Rick Wright who would eventually become her loving husband of over 50 years. Together, they worked in the dairy business and later, purchased an electrical business.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Michael Smith, sister, Patricia Purifoy and brother-in-law, Kenneth Purifoy.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Richard Wright of Shawnee, daughter, Brandi Barrett and husband Shane of Bristow, OK; son, Mark Wright and wife, Ashley of Moore, OK; grandchildren, Trenton and Elijah Choate and Taylor Stuteville and husband Garrett; niece, Cathy Smith and nephew, Gerald Smith.
Services were held on July 8, 2022, Burial followed at Parkland Cemetery.
