Starla Sue (West) Van Horn passed away May 21, 2025.
Starla was born April 7, 1961 to Carl and Bonita West in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Starla married Don Van Horn in 2001. She devoted her life to being a homemaker.
Starla was preceded in death by her husband; father, Carl West; grandma and grandpa West, grandma and grandpa Gentry; two uncles, Leon West and John West; one nephew, Arron Smith.
She is survived by her mother, Bonita West of Kingfisher, OK; brother, Doug and Ruth West of Tecumseh, OK; sister, Genia and Ricky Smith of Davenport, OK; daughter, Tommie Stevenson of Tecumseh, OK; sons, Timmy Yates of Shawnee, OK, Shane Yates of Shawnee, OK; stepson, Craig Van Horn of Wewoka, OK, two uncles, four aunts, eight grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
