Steven Edd Barnes, 54, died Feb. 2, 2022.
He was born Oct. 3, 1967, in Tecumseh, OK to Edd and Retha Mae (Rose) Barnes.
He held many jobs, but the one he loved most was working with his dad and friends at Hardesty Grocery.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and his father, Edd Barnes.
He is survived by his mother, Retha Mae Barnes, of Tecumseh; sisters Debbie Martin and husband Neal, of Shawnee, Lana Elmore and husband Tim, of Purcell; niece Katy Elmore; nephews Tyler Farris, Trevor Martin and Christian Martin; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
A memorial service is planned for 2:00 PM, Mar. 5, 2022, at the Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh.
