Tim Melton, 59, of Tecumseh, OK, died April 5, 2022 in Shawnee.
He was born March 18, 1963 to Billy Gene and Oleta (Naylor) Melton in Oklahoma City, OK.
Tim was raised in McLoud, OK and attended McLoud Public Schools with the class of 1982. Tim has lived most of his adult life in the Tecumseh and Dale area.
He married Jerri Sue Young on Dec. 31, 1986 in Texas.
Tim worked as a concrete estimator for Black Diamond Nation Wide his entire career.
He enjoyed woodworking, building things, gardening, fishing and mowing his lawn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jerri Sue Melton; and his father, Billy Gene Melton.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Jack Mitchell of Shawnee, Ezekiel Gene Melton and fiancé Shanda Gordon of Tecumseh and Cameron Dean Melton of Tecumseh; eight grandchildren; his mother, Oleta Melton; one sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Keith Jones of Newalla; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Lanie Melton of Shawnee; and other extended family and friends.
Service was April 8, 2022 at Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend David Flanary officiating. Burial followed at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
