Vernon Charles Stokes, 78, of Tribbey, Oklahoma passed away July 2, 2022.
He was born December 11, 1943 to Robert and Louise (Miser) Stokes in Norman, Oklahoma.
Vernon attended Norman Schools and graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Stokes; parents, Robert and Louise Stokes; 2 brothers, Melvin Stokes and Richard Stokes; and 2 sisters, Clara Langarin and Rita Seiter.
Survivors include his sister, Evelyn Clark of Earlsboro, OK; and numerous, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 11, 2022 at Council Creek Cemetery in Tribbey, OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
