William Frank Fipps, age 88, passed away July 20, 2025, after a long battle with heart complications. Frank was born on Oct. 30, 1936, in Brownsboro, TX, to William Frank Fipps, Sr. and Millie (Hutchins) Fipps. After high school, he worked various jobs before finding his calling as a truck driver for Safeway, retiring after 36 dedicated years behind the wheel. In 1965, Frank met Linda Dannheim, and they were married in 1972.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; sisters and brothers-in-law, June and Bill Rounsavall and Pete and Jimmy Langston; daughter, Pam Bailey; and granddaughter, Candice Gibson. He experienced deep companionship in two loving marriages, including his first wife, Ida Lou, who passed in 1972, and he remained committed to the women he cherished throughout his lifetime.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; his children: Nell, Kevin Dawyne, Kevin Dale and wife, Melissa, and Christopher; 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
Services were held on July 24, 2025, at AE Funeral Services Chapel, Shawnee, OK. Interment followed at Dale Cemetery.
