Gene Austin, of Caddo, OK, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Gene was born Aug. 29, 1943, to Edgar and Mary (Smith) Austin. Gene was raised in Caney, McLoud, Midwest City, Oklahoma City, and Caddo, OK. He graduated from Caney, OK, in 1961.

Thomas Early passed away on Dec. 21, 2023. He was born January 17, 1947, to William and Geraldine (Byars) Early in Albuquerque, NM. Thomas was raised in Midwest City and attended Carl Albert High School.

Maxine Ann Warren Marzuola

Maxine Ann Warren Marzuola, 93, of Ponca City, OK, passed away on Dec. 28, 2023. She was born Sept. 9, 1930, in Dow, OK, to Cecil Roger and Julia Persiani Warren. Maxine graduated from Haileyville High School in Haileyville, OK. She married Louis Marzuola, Jr., on July 28, 1951.

James Hugh Sheets

James Hugh Sheets passed away on Dec. 16, 2023. James was born on July 12, 1943, in Tonkawa, OK, to Troy Winton Sheets and Gladys Anna (Fischer) Sheets.

Joann Coomer

Joann Coomer passed away on Dec. 23, 2023. Joann was born Oct. 31, 1938, in Shawnee, OK, to Joel Dixon Jordan and Zuma Pansy Hibbard (Rigdon). She attended Irving Elementary, Shawnee Jr. High, and graduated from Shawnee High School. Joann worked at Tinker Air Force Base from high school until 1973.

Thelbert Robert “Bob” Tomlinson

Bob Tomlinson passed away on Dec. 21, 2023. Bob was born September 23, 1936, in Shawnee, OK, to Jack Samuel Tomlinson and Walsie W. (Jordan) Tomlinson. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1954. He married Janice “Jan” (Goins) in Texas in 1972.

Dixon Tiger

Dixon Tiger passed away on Dec. 20, 2023. A graveside ceremony was held on Jan. 2, 2023, at the Concho Cemetery in Concho, OK. Dixon was born in Dallas, TX, on Nov. 17, 1962, to Dean and Ruby Tiger. Following his education, Dixon joined the U.S. Army.

Helen June (Wiley) Maston

Helen June (Wiley) Maston passed away Dec. 24, 2023. Helen was born on July 8, 1940, to Clifton and Mamie Wiley in Stigler, OK. She graduated from Stigler High School. She attended Muskogee Vocational School in Muskogee, OK, and obtained her LPN degree. She worked her entire life as a nurse.
