Bethel, Tecumseh FFA Chapters Receive 3-Star Awards

The Bethel and Tecumseh FFA Chapters both received their Three-Star State Superior Chapter Awards during the Oklahoma FFA Central Area Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) Conference in September.

There are many stories to be told about last Thursday’s game between Bethel (4-3, 2-2 District 2A-2) and Star Spencer (1-6, 0-4). Let’s begin with quarterback Cale Duncan. The sophomore got his first career start against the Bobcats, and he did not disappoint.

Lady Wildcats Head To Regionals

The 21-14 (6-6 in district) Bethel Wildcat softball team is headed to the postseason for the third year in a row, this time focused on making the state tournament. “Our goal is to do everything possible to earn a trip to the state tournament,” said head coach Tara Satterfield.

Meeker Beats Bethel For First Season Win

It looked like District 2A-2 was the Big XII Conference last Friday night at Meeker in the battle of the ‘Cats and ‘Dogs. The two teams combined for nearly 1,000 yards of total offense on 135 plays, producing nine touchdowns and 82 points.

BHS Wildcats Trounce Little Axe

Before Bethel won the toss and elected to receive the ball in the first half, and before Little Axe’s decision to defend the north end zone, thus giving Bethel the ball and the wind, there was the 2022 homecoming ceremony. Alex Tollett crowned Kloee Nichols homecoming queen.

Impressive Group Of Seniors Lead BHS Football

The 2022 Oklahoma high school football season officially kicked off with practices on August 8th, and the first contact Bethel players will have with those from a different roster will be tomorrow night (5:30 pm) at a scrimmage at Purcell with Anadarko also in attendance.

Work Continues On Bethel Upper Elementary, New Student Numbers Increase
