Bethel Band Boosters Hold 7th Annual Car Show

For the seventh year, the western parking lot of Bethel High School was filled with colorful cars, trucks, and motorcycles, and the Bethel Jazz Band could be heard performing.
A 1932 Oldsmobile "Hupmobile" Series F222 glints in the summer sun during the City of 5 Nations Downtown Auto Show & Shine in downtown Shawnee on July 16. The car is owned by Louis Hopper, of Tecumseh, who said he bought the car in June 1987, has done all the welding and mechanic work, and has driven it since 2003. Countywide & Sun/Natasha Dunagan

The City of 5 Nations Downtown Auto Show & Shine brought out 178 registered vehicles and several that did not register for their third annual event in downtown Shawnee on July 16.

Over 100 Entries At The 6th Annual Bethel Band Boosters Car Show

The Bethel Band Boosters held their Sixth Annual Car Show fundraiser at Bethel High School on April 9. Organizer Carla Whitehurst said this is one of their largest fundraisers each year, and over 100 cars entered, according to their Facebook post. Here are the results from the show.
