OKLAHOMA CITY – Danny Williams, R-Seminole, co-authored legislation to cut the state’s income tax by 0.25%. House Bill 1002XXX passed the House 71-20 this week during a special session called by the governor. The measure would take the state’s top income tax rate from 4.75% to 4.

Tecumseh lost a true treasure this past week. Tecumseh Alumnus Raymond Talley passed away on Saturday, Jan. 20, just shy of his 102nd birthday. Talley graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1941. After graduation, he served his country in the US Navy as a signalman aboard the USS Ashland.
