Clemmie Lucas of Tecumseh will turn 100 on Christmas Day, and Project H.E.A.R.T, in conjunction with the Tecumseh Senior Center, threw her an early birthday party on Dec. 15. Lucas still drives to the center every day for lunch and twice a month for bingo. Countywide & Sun/ Natasha Dunagan

Twenty-seven contestants in the Tot, Little, Junior and Miss Frontier Days Pageant perform the musical number dressed in period costumes for the “Remember When” theme. The pageant was held on Sept. 24 at the W.P. Wood Alumni Center at Tecumseh High School, but the Junior and Miss contestants will be crowned before the Frontier Days Parade on Sept. 30. Hip-Hoppin’ Summer Fun At The Tecumseh Public Library
