A Successful Senior Night For Tecumseh Savages

NOTE: The Blanchard game has been changed to tonight (Thursday). The weather was a bit sloppy, but it was a successful Senior Night for the Savages last Friday at home.
The Shawnee Boys Volleyball JV Team won the Oklahoma Boys High School Volleyball Championships on Oct. 30 at Union Freshman Academy in Tulsa. Shown, from left, are Coach Kristen Bonner, Benji Cole, Layton Pickard, Brant Nave, Elijah Keenan, Ahlijah Gipp, Toby Nave, Dravin Little, and Coach (and proud parent) Brian Nave. Shawnee JV Boys Volleyball Win State

It was a dog-eat-dog match as the Shawnee Wolves faced the Edmond North Huskies for the Oklahoma Boys Volleyball Association (OKBVA) State High School JV Championship. Held at Union Freshman Academy in Tulsa on Oct. 29-30, Shawnee took state, three sets to one.

Wildcats Celebrate Seniors Before A Loss To Luther

Last Friday was Senior Night for the Bethel Wildcats. As the parents, players, and managers all lined up for the celebration, the Bethel coaches seemed to be celebrating something else. Luther’s dominant wide receiver, Quintin Richardson, was not suited up.

Savage Runners End A Great Cross Country Season At State

A successful Cross Country season culminated in a trip to the State Meet for the Savage team and a couple of Lady Savages making it to the big state. The Tecumseh boys squad finished 3rd in last week’s Regional Meet held at Waurika on Saturday, Oct 22.
