Tecumseh Lady Savages shine with shutout wins

The class 5A top-ranked Tecumseh Lady Savages slow pitch team finished off the Broken Bow Festival last Tuesday with a couple of shutout wins over Howe and Broken Bow.

A fantastic season finished just short of the State Championship game for North Rock Creek (NRC) last week at the Big House in Oklahoma City.The Cougars opened their State Tournament on Wednesday at 1:30 pm and fought to a close win in the quarterfinals over 12th-ranked Bethany, 61-56.

Maud, Macomb form co-op baseball

The high schools at Maud and Macomb have come up with a solution for potentially not having enough players on their baseball teams. They have combined their players into one team, a co-op team called the Maud/Macomb Tigers, said Maud High School Principal Stephen Harris.

Earlsboro basketball players receive Little River Conference awards

Seniors Elias Barraza and Quintin Lena were selected All-Conference and named to the Little River Conference (LRC) Tournament team. The two seniors help lead the Wildcats to second place in the LRC tournament earlier this year.Lena also joined the 1,000 Point Club.

Bogle Named Full-Time Head Coach of SSC Men’s Basketball Ahead of Region II Tournament

SEMINOLE, OK, March 10, 2025 –Seminole State College has named Austin Bogle as the full-time Head Coach of the Men’s Basketball team, removing the interim tag just in time for the Trojans’ run in the Region II - Division I Tournament.
