Tecumseh Splits A Doubleheader At Home

It was a spring break-shortened schedule last week for Savage Baseball as they played two games, home and away, against Glenpool and ended up with a split.On Monday, the Savages hosted the Warriors and came out hot on their way to an 8-7 win.

Lady Savages Are On A Winning Streak, Nine Games In A Row

After a loss at North Rock Creek two weeks ago, the Lady Savages have run off nine wins in a row for an 11-1 record and ranked #2 in 5A.The Lady Savages finished off last week at the Broken Bow Festival on Tuesday with wins over 5th-ranked Broken Bow and Howe.

Shawnee Boys Tennis Coach Dacia Jordan said this is the third time for their home courts to be used since the fences were replaced recently, after the April 2023 tornado damage. Jordan said whether they replace their building will depend on if the April 2 school bond passes. Countywide & Sun/Natasha Dunagan
