Terry Hubbard, 64, of Shawnee, died Dec. 16, 2021, in an Oklahoma City Hospital. Terry was born Feb. 27, 1957, in Shawnee to Clifford and Louise (Padgett) Hubbard. He graduated from Shawnee High School and was an Oilfield truck driver.

Jean Pointer, 99, of Shawnee, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, in Shawnee, OK. Jean was born Oct. 23, 1922, in Hazel, OK, to Jack and Alma B. Crain. She was raised in Binger, OK, and graduated from High School in Purcell. Jean married John T. Pointer Sept. 3, 1939 in Denton, TX.

Thelma Lou Brown

Shawnee resident Thelma Lou Brown, 93, died Dec. 7, 2021, at her home. Thelma Lou was born July 28, 1928 in Maysville, OK, to Fredrick Elmer Ford and Rena Marie (Franklin) Ford. She married James “Sonny” Brown, Feb. 1, 1946. Funeral service was Dec. 13, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church.

Timothy Lee Huff, Sr.

Timothy Lee Huff, Sr., 62, died Dec. 8, 2021. He was born July 14, 1959, to Vernon and Robbie Huff of Shawnee, OK. Tim was a US Veteran. A graveside ceremony for Tim was held Dec. 14, 2021, at the Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee with military honors by the United States Army.
